Foundry’s Vision for the Future
We will bring others into our community by sharing God’s love and witnessing to Foundry’s mission and ministry in our daily lives. We will embody radical hospitality and provide a transcendent worship experience. We will care for all and walk alongside each other in times of celebration and challenge, joy and grief.
Foundry is a big church that thrives on small communities. We will expand this work by creating and supporting thriving communities of inclusive and supportive small groups, classes, and more. These communities will be places where all can learn, grow, fellowship, and be in relationship with others.
At Foundry, children and youth explore their developing faith, build meaningful relationships throughout our community, and find opportunities to serve the wider world. We will support a growing number of children from newborn through young adulthood in our community, engaging them in all areas of congregational life, and supporting their families through all stages of life.
Social justice and service are central to our experience together. Our community offers service and direct aid that provide immediate, life-affirming help for those in need, as well as advocacy opportunities to create the just world we seek. We will establish a Center for Social Justice to unite this work of service, direct aid, and advocacy under one hub while we teach and equip other congregations to do this vital work.
Foundry’s strategic vision is the result of two years of small group meetings, working groups focused on our key priorities, deep engagement by the Foundry Board, and the work of over 100 members of the Foundry community. We are particularly grateful for those who participated in our ministry working groups.
