Point-In-Time Count of our Unhoused Neighbors

WEDS.–THURS. | JANUARY 25–26, 2023

In the late hours of Wednesday, Jan. 25 and the early hours of Thursday, Jan. 26, join the Foundry team taking part in the Point-in-Time Count. The Point-in-Time Count is the ‘census’ of unhoused neighbors in DC, which provides policy makers and funders the information they need on homelessness in the District. Volunteers are needed to canvass the Foundry neighborhood. Like last year, training will be available online.

Sign up here to join the team, and select Foundry United Methodist Church as your Volunteer Organization. (Select "Yes" when asked "Are you affiliated with a homelessness provider agency, volunteer organization, or would you like to list your employer?" and then type in Foundry United Methodist Church.)

Live in Maryland? You can join Montgomery County’s Point in Time Count here.

To ensure the health and safety of all participants, surveyors will be provided a complete PPE kit, are required to adhere to COVID-19 protocols while volunteering (including masking and social distancing), and must complete a COVID-19 screening prior to meeting with survey teams on the night of the PIT Count. Additionally, we are requiring that ALL surveyors be fully vaccinated* to participate.

With your help, we can ensure the success of this project and improve the delivery of services to this vulnerable population. If you have any questions, please email: pit@community-partnership.org.
