Beloved members and friends of Foundry,

We are reaching out today to let you know that the Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) has approved six weeks of renewal leave for Rev. Dr. Kelly L. Grimes. Pastor Kelly will begin this leave on Monday, August 15 and will return Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

This leave, which is granted to clergy under full-time appointment every seven years, is a time where Pastor Kelly can achieve some much-needed rest, replenish her body and mind, and renew her spirit and call.

While Pastor Kelly is away, the ministry of Hospitality and Congregational Care will continue under the care of our team leaders, clergy, and staff. We will continue to hold our care team meetings and will host our Pre-Cana marriage retreat on Saturday, September 10. 

We hope that you will join us in praying for Pastor Kelly and her ministry teams. We also hope that you will continue to care for yourself, and reach out to your Foundry clergy team to talk about resources for self care.
