Dear Friends and Foundry Community, 

I write to you today with an important update. As I shared today during the 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services at Foundry, Bishop LaTrelle Easterling will be assigning Pastor Kelly to a new appointment starting on July 1 of this year. Ahead of this new appointment, the staff parish relations committee is giving Pastor Kelly leave to prepare for her next appointment. This period of leave has already begun.

We are grateful for Pastor Kelly’s work at Foundry. She joined Foundry’s pastoral staff in July 2019 as Associate Pastor and Director of Hospitality and Congregational Care. Even through a pandemic and months of social distancing and remote worship, she has provided pastoral care for many in the congregation and continued key programs as we leaned into our mission at Foundry to love God, love each other, and change the world. 

On May 14, we will have a celebration for Pastor Kelly and an opportunity for members of the congregation to thank her for her ministry at Foundry. More details will be announced ahead of that date.
