It is with a heavy heart that we share that Alice Chang, Foundry’s longtime Wedding Coordinator, died suddenly on Tuesday, January 25.
For over a decade, Alice helped coordinate our Pre-Cana Marriage Retreats, shepherded couples through the process of preparing for and celebrating their weddings, and nurtured Foundry's children as a volunteer in our Childcare Center. Her ministry and witness have shaped countless lives, and we are blessed to have worked alongside her.
Foundry clergy have been working closely with Alice’s family, and a celebration of her life has been scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, January 28 at 11:30 a.m. You can join us in either in our sanctuary or online at foundryumc.org/alice.
We ask that you pray especially for Alice’s husband David and the rest of her family in this difficult time. As we draw close together in our grief, may we be for one another living reminders of God’s abiding presence. Thanks be to God who holds us in every moment of grief and loss. Thanks be to God in whom Alice now rests in steadfast love, light, and peace.
