Benjamin Musasizi is a distinguished leader and advocate in humanitarian and community
development. As the founder of Divine Hearts Foundation, a Christian 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization, he is committed to empowering underserved communities in Uganda through education
and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) initiatives. The foundation’s mission is to support
and uplift vulnerable children and families, helping them overcome developmental challenges.
Originally from Jinja, Uganda, Benjamin holds an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Mass
Communication from Uganda Christian University. He is furthering his education with a
postgraduate diploma in Film and TV Production from UCLA Extension and pursuing a Master of
Divinity at Drew Theological Seminary.
In November 2023, Benjamin published his bestselling book, A Comprehensive Travel Guide to
Visiting Uganda, marking his debut as an author. In addition to his philanthropic work, Benjamin
manages Nesy Media LLC, a media company based in Silver Spring, MD, where he focuses on video
production and content creation.
His extensive experience includes roles as Youth Director for the East Africa Annual Conference
of the United Methodist Church, Communications Officer for the East Africa Episcopal Area, Media
Personnel for team Uganda at the Men’s World Lacrosse Championships, Additional videographer for
the United Methodist Communications at the 2020 General Conference and Program Manager at
Lutheran Media Ministries for his Bachelor’s degree internship.
