Pastor's Coffee is an opportunity for those who wish to begin the journey toward official membership at Foundry to meet with Pastor Kelly and other members of the staff to learn more about our Church and move toward the next steps in A Disciple's Path. A Disciple's Path New Member Class
Join us for our new member class, "A Disciple's Path," beginning February 12. This six-week class goes in-depth on different Spiritual topics and teaches prospective new members more about life and ministry here at Foundry Church. It will be lead by Associate Pastor and Director of Hospitality and Congregational Care, Rev. Dr. Kelly L. Grimes, and will meet both in person and virtually. Register for "A Disciple's Path" here.
Foundry Family Ministries
It's time to submit names for Foundry college students and active-duty Foundry members so we can send them Valentine cookies! Names should be submitted by January 31 to foundryumc.org/cookies. We'll collect and pack items on Sunday, February 5 in the Community Commons between and after worship services. Register to pack with us here.

Help us plan our 2023 programs! On Sunday, Jan. 29, we invite all small group leaders, class leaders, and anyone who is interested in Discipleship to our 2023 Visioning Session. We will come together to think through what our 2023 programs will look like, discuss possible themes, and imagine the implementation of new groups and experiences. Foundry Women's Retreat February 24-26 at Pecometh Retreat Center

Join the Women of Foundry and our sister Churches, for the relaunch of our in-person, annual retreat at Riverview Retreat Center, Pecometh UMC Camp in Centreville, Maryland. Dr. Rev. Katy Hinman will be our keynote speaker leading us in exploring the ways we can reconnect, reenergize and reinvigorate our journey and engagement with ourselves and others. Reverend. Scientist. Speaker. Hinman has been a guest preacher at Foundry and is Program Director for Dialogue on Science, Ethics and Religion (DoSER), a program of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Registration is now open.

Be Our Guest: Disney Hospitality and the Church

Join Associate Pastor and Director of Discipleship Rev. Jonathan Brown for "Be Our Guest: Disney Hospitality and the Church." This six-week course will be offered on Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m. beginning March 19, 2023. We will take a look at the book "Be Our Guest: Perfecting the Art of Customer Service" by the Disney Institute — then discuss how Disney welcomes people into their parks and hotels, and what lessons the church can learn from this. 2023 parking passes for the Colonial Parking Garage — located on P Street between 16th and 17th Streets NW — are now available for purchase for $250. Use this pass in place of payment during the following hours: Wednesdays from 7–9 p.m. and Sundays from 8 a.m.–2 p.m. Foundry continues to work with Colonial Parking to identify a mutually beneficial and long-term solution.
