Time is a funny thing.  I remember the feeling as a child that summer break or even a week at my grandparent’s home was such a long stretch of time…And having to wait for something for a month? Well, that was an eternity!  Somewhere along the line, I heard older folks talk about how, with every passing year, time seemed to fly by faster and faster.  As I’ve aged, I’ve learned I’m not a fan of flying time.  My equilibrium goes haywire when I realize that something I think happened last year actually occurred three years ago!  How can that be?!  Time seems to fold in on itself, to dissolve, to collapse.  At s [...]
