Meet the Mission Possible Leadership Team
Co-Chairs Oni Blair and Paul Hazen
As a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State, Oni Blair has served overseas tours in the U.S. Embassies in Iraq, Pakistan, and Jordan. While in Washington, Oni has held positions in the Office of the Deputy Secretary of State, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs, and the Office of Pakistan Affairs. She is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Atlas Corps, a non-profit organization that addresses critical social issues through fellowships for skilled professionals in the United States and abroad. She has also held leadership roles relating to education and scholarship programs at Foundry, where she has been a member since 2009. Oni earned a Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. She is married to Chris Hensman.
Paul Hazen's professional career over 30 years has been to promote economic and social justice in the US and around the world. He is a champion of cooperatives as leaders in food security, democracy building, economic development and gender equality. Paul is currently the Executive Director of the US Overseas Cooperative Development Council, the organization's mission is to build a more prosperous world through cooperatives. Over the past 25 years Paul has held many leadership roles at Foundry United Methodist Church, focusing his attention on fundraising and financial management.
